Only four Summer Evening Cruises are left in the 2018 season, so time is running out to enjoy an evening of live music on the River Mersey this summer

With performances from North West favourites – Marc Kenny, Xebra, Natalie Collins and The Poor Boys – the two-hour cruises offer a fully licensed bar and stunning views of the Liverpool and Wirral waterfronts

Thousands of city visitors have already set sail on the iconic Mersey Ferries this summer and with the 2018 season coming to a close in just a few weeks, organisers are urging would-be passengers to buy their tickets now or risk missing out.

The final evening cruise takes place on Friday 28 September, so there are only five weeks and a handful of tickets left for those who want to make the most of the British summer and experience a sunset over Liverpool’s   UNESCO World Heritage Waterfront.

With live music from top local talent including Marc Kenny, who recently won Best Live Entertainer at the Liverpool Lifestyle Awards and popular Wirral favourites – Xebra, the cruises also feature a fully licensed bar, with tickets priced at only £14.95 per person.

Gary Evans, from Mersey Ferries, said: “Our evening cruises really are one of the most unique nights out in the North West. The 2018 programme has been incredibly popular and has appealed to such a diverse audience as it provides a memorable mix of music, dancing and live entertainment that can be enjoyed with friends or family.

“We’ve had customers onboard who are interested in the music, some who appreciate the fascinating history of the waterfront and some who simply want to enjoy an evening taking in breath-taking views.

“With just a few weeks of the summer programme remaining, we’re encouraging people to act fast if they want to get their hands on the remaining tickets before it’s too late.”

Evening cruise dates for the remainder of the 2018 season are:

  • Sunday 2nd September – Marc Kenny
  • Friday 7th September – Xebra
  • Saturday 15th September – Natalie Collins
  • Friday 28th September – The Poor Boys
