Please notify your home insurance provider. I’m sure the majority will except your change in circumstances and there should be no additional premium. You should however tell them, don’t give them an excuse not to pay even an unrelated claim!!
If you work for a larger organisation please ensure their Cyber Insurance policy extends to cover you at home. Be vigilant Cyber Criminals are exploiting the current situation and we have seen a major spike in Phishing emails.
If you work for yourself and rely on technology from home we have stand alone individual cyber policies from as little as £50 per annum. Don’t go without cover. Imagine that feeling when you log on to work and you can’t because of malware. Who even gets out of bed for £50 as a call out!! Let alone forensic analyst and credit reporting agencies!!
